What is a base

An acid is a liquid that had Hydrogen atom that can react.
For example:
  • Nitric Acid               HNO3
  • Sulfuric Acid            H2SO4
  • Hydrochloric Acid    HCI

A base is the opposite of an acid and has OH (Hydroxide) that can react.

When an acid and a base react, they NEUTRALISE (cancel out) each other.

Where do you find acids?
  1. Oven CLeaner
